Pauline's Story
Pauline's life had been blighted with unexplained symptoms of extreme
debilitating tiredness, an inability to concentrate, difficulty
in regulating her own temperature and generally poor health, since
contracting glandular fever 26 years ago.
Like most of my clients with M.E, she had tried pretty much every
approach before contacting us; she was on an anti-candida and a
low allergenic diet, was mainly bed bound and hadn't walked further
than from the bedroom to the bathroom for over 10 years. She arrived
in her wheelchair, curious, but not very hopeful as to whether she
really be any different after her sessions.
After a week she wrote this
report of her experience:
The Lightning Process has completely
changed my life. In just the space of a few days I have gone from
being completely housebound and sofa/bedridden to being able to
take short walks, to wash my hair and take a shower, do basic household
tasks and even visit my daughter and son in law- my first social
visit for about 10 years. I have walked for 10 minutes everyday
since my first visit to Phil Parker, and have stood up for much,
much longer than I can remember doing for years. I've even been
able to solve a suduko puzzle, which would have been impossible
to do before as I found it so difficult to sit up or concentrate.
( Phil's note: These things
may seem trivial achievements to the average person, but bear in
mind that Pauline had been unable to do these simple tasks for over
a decade.)
I'm still pinching myself because
it's so amazing I can hardly believe it.
It was well worth the enormous effort involved in making the journey
to London.
A week later Pauline reported.
"I've returned home and
have walked up the front drive (it's quit steep) for the first time
since we bought the house 6 years ago.
I've done some ironing, for
the first time in 12 years.
I've walked everyday, and even
visited my parents' graves for the first time- I've never previously
done this as the cemetery is not wheel chair accessible.
It's amazing, I keep wondering
if it will last, but I just keeps on improving!
I even spoke to Evelyn,(see
case 5)who I've been in contact (by mail) with for 5 years. This
was our first actual conversation as before I found that phone conversations
just totally drained me. It was amazing to hear her voice at last
and just be able to talk!
I also had my first banana for
years; I'd been told I had an allergy to them , but that doesn't
seem to be true any more!"
A month later Pauline wrote.
I've had a virus over the last
week- it was a bit scarey as at the first sign of symptoms I expected
the worst. Amazingly I found I had recovered in a matter of days
rather than the usual months.
I've also had my food intolerance
test results back form York laboratories. 6 months ago they told
me I was allergic to 30 foods, now it's just 4- I think you could
call that a result!
I shall enjoy eating all those
lovely foods again that I have been missing for the last 6 months.
