The NLP and EFT approach to phobias produces rapid, comfortable,

Now this may sound a bit unreal, especially if you have a really
good example of a phobia, but we've cured so many people of all
sort of phobias that we can say this with confidence.
Phobia cure- how does it work?
Our Phobia curing techniques involve
Phobia cure- is it scarey to do?
Absolutely not. There would be no point in getting you scared in
order to to help be less scared.
Our treatments need absolutely no exposure
to the thing you fear.
That would be unpleasant, ineffective and just plain nasty!
Some treatments, like the traditional "exposure" or desensitisation
techniques do work on expeosure principals; and they're not very
effective.
We do not do that kind of thing, and we are very effective.

Abstract This
article evaluated a program for treating phobias based on R. Bandler
and J. Grinder's (1979) Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) and Ericksonian
approaches to psychotherapy within the context of a multifaceted
treatment program.
Thirty-one phobic patients
seen in group/class treatment programs completed Mark's Phobia Questionnaire
and Fear Inventory and the Beck Depression Inventory before and
after 8 weeks of treatment. Seventeen patients seen in individual
therapy completed part of the phobia questionnaire before and after
treatment. Results indicate marked improvement by those who were
treated.
Findings suggest that
NLP holds promise for becoming an important set of therapeutic techniques
for treating phobias.
